About
Ben McDonnell is an artist, musician and academic. His BA (hons) was in jazz performance and composition at Leeds College of Music. In 2017 he completed an MA in photography at the Royal College of Art.

Currently his practice(s) sit between making photographic images, installation, performing with graphic scores as well as teaching.

He has received funding for projects from the British Council, Arts Council England and has exhibited internationally. Ben has written extensively about sound and education and has been published by Routledge, Palgrave McMillan, amongst others.

He is currently a Senior Lecturer for the Fine Art BA course at Norwich University. In addition, Ben is currently a PhD candidate in Arts and Learning at Goldsmiths UoL.
